RESIDENCE SIGRID

FACILITATOR supports MISSCHIEFS founder Paola Bjäringer in developing a new artist residency in the village of Collioure, southern France—a place that inspired many early 20th-century artists, including Henri Matisse and Sigrid Hjertén. Though independent, the new residency will be developed in the spirit of MISSCHIEFS.

MISSCHIEFS is a method to push for more visibility of womxn artists. By taking over empty spaces in key urban locations, MISSCHIEFS curates multidisciplinary exhibitions and public experiences as well as offering rent-free art studios to selected womxn artists.
